Hi ladies,  Maripat is starting a bible study group at her house and would like to invite anyone interested to drop in.  She's been teaching for 20 years and finds new things each time she teaches.  She uses a method  called Inductive Bible Study that teaches you to "feed yourself" from the Word of God.  If you are interested in attending just show up:

Start Date:  Friday, August 8
1280 Drifting Wind Run
10:00am to 12:30pm
Last Class:  October 3rd (intro class plus 8 lessons)
cost for Workbook:  $18.00
Topic:  Kings and Prophets #1
Contact Maripat at 858-1317 for more details.

This class picks up at the beginning of King Solomon's reign.  The study will follow a historical account of what happened during his reign, along with the messages of the Prophets who spoke at the time.  Maripat promises you will be amazed how relevant it is to our day and time.

MORE NEW NEIGHBORS

We are so happy to welcome the Fitzgeralds to the neighborhood.  James and Julie came from Houston where James had an investment business.  Julie wanted to move back to the Hill Country - and who can blame her?? - so he sold his business and opened an Allstate Insurance office here.  The don't miss Houston at all.   The Fitzgerald family includes Dad, Mom and two adorable little boys, Daylon, age 3 and Kaiden,  just two weeks old.

After meeting her, Julie sounds like she will be lots of fun at bunco/ book club/ or whatever we ladies want to get involved in.

WELCOME THE ROBBINS

Brooke and Richard Robbins are new to the neighborhood.  They came from Houston with their 6 month old daughter, Emerson (what a great name) to be closer to family.  Brooke says they fell in love with the Dripping Springs area the moment they saw the Preserve.  So, if you run into someone in the neighborhood you don't know - it just might be the Robbins.  Stop and say HI.

We're doing double fun on August 21st at Maripat's house.  Book club will meet at 6:30, followed by yummy food and then  Bunco at 7:30.

If you can join us for one or both, comment at the bottom of this post, or email Terri or Maripat.    If you have new neighbors, let them know about this event and give them the blog address so they can check on future events.

Maripat's address is 1280 Drifting Wind Run.  Her email is posted at the right with the rest of the ladies, and her phone number is 858-1317
Hope to see lots and lots of you there!
