Ducky answer - thanks Darcy
Darcy let me know that that ducks live in Kirby Springs and have been visiting the Preserve for the last 6 years. She says they love the green grass. But then who wouldn't?
Everything is DUCKY in my yard these days
I've seen these boys around a few times. The other morning they were in my garage eating the cat food. They slowly waddled out when we went into the garage but didn't run off - guess they were waiting for us to leave so they could finish their breakfast.
Finally they gave up and flew off, leaving behind some rather unpleasant deposit - which I stepped in, of course.
I wonder where they live, and where they swim. I haven't seen them near the pool.
In the spirit of "one man's trash is another man's treasure", check out the garage sale at Dripping Springs United Methodist Church . The sale starts at 8am and ends at 2pm on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12.
The church is located on RR12, north of Hwy 290 (south of the Dripping Springs elementary school).
If you have the Spring Cleaning bug - clear out those garages and closets and the church will be glad to take your unwanted items for the garage sale! Call Shari Breese if you have questions. 858-0715.
