Bunco

April 10, Bunco at Gail Naughton's.  She's getting invites out this week.  It's BYOB - Gail will have Tea etc.  Bring an appetizer if you feel inclined to do so.  Mainly, just come and have fun!!  Let Gail know if you'll be there so she can plan.

RECYCLE - it's easy and makes a difference!!

Jack Breese spoke about recycling in the neighborhood.  He reminded us that Hays County Recycling is just 2 miles from us and makes it easy to recycle.  To find them, go south on 12, then east on 150.  If you need further information, google Hays County Recycle and all the information  including their hours and what is accepted is there.

Nancy uses Green Goddess Recycle.  Green Goddess charges $15.00 per month whit the final bill of $16.24 per month.  They pick up on Thursday in the morning.  Nancy puts out cardboard (flattened), glass, cans, and paper.  She says this has made a difference in her trash can contents and is so easy.  It makes her think twice about all the packaging we get.  A few things that are not recyclable are the plastic bottle TOPS and cereal boxes (they are already recycled.)

Nancy also reminds us that HEB now accepts all those plastic bags, dry cleaner bags and newspaper bags at their stores.

Andrea Larsen is changing her night to host.   We can enjoy bunco at Andrea's on May 22.  If anyone wants to host a night of bunco, food, or anything else, just comment after this post - or email Terri or Nancy.

No Get-together this week

With all that's going on, sadly we are not able to get together this week.   Ronni is going to reschedule her night so we won't miss out on the bananas that have - me at least - very curious and interested.   Maybe we'll all meet up at the HOA meeting?  If not, we'll see you at Gail's for bunco, April 10th.

HOA Meeting

Thursday, March 27 is the annual HOA meeting in the board room of the DISD administration building, 510 Mercer Street.    The meeting will be held at 6:30pm and will include election of a Board of Directors for the coming year.   

Change of Plans

Hi everyone.  Ronni has a conflict and can't host on the 27th - and I was REALLY looking forward to the roasted bananas.  We'll have to convince her to do her food night another time.  If anyone wants to fill in - with either food or bunco - let Nancy or I know.  And keep watch here to see what new plans we come up with.

Cabi Party
